Used Rate Hub for the renewal of my residential mortgage (rep: Raphael Essiminy). Would highly recommend the company to anyone looking for a renewal, refinance or new mortgage. The service from Raphael was exceptional - I felt very well taken care of, 24/7. The rep was extremely responsive, and always available when I had a question or inquiry about the process. Communication with the rep was conducted via email and mobile phone - it was seamless and very easy. Rate Hub has an excellent process for assembling required documents and information - it's all online, with high security and ease of access (i.e. very simple systems to use and access). In terms of obtaining a competitive rate, I can say that Rate Hub (via CanWise financial) offered the best Variable rate on the market (even compared to an "employee rate" offer I received from a Big 6 Bank that I used to work for). Rate Hub also has its own Notary service providers that can be used in the transaction to make it easier - rather than calling around to find a Notary who is available to take the transaction on. Overall, the experience was amazing - 100% professional, 100% honest and open, 100% easy and best of all there were no hidden fees, no hidden clauses, no hidden funny stuff. Before using Rate Hub, I canvassed all Big Banks in my neighbourhood for mortgage rate offers - in the end, Rate Hub had the best offer and the easiest process.
