Julien Dupuis

I recently transferred my existing mortgage to RateHub on the renewal and it was a bit of a roller coaster. The original agent I dealt with went on leave (unbeknownst to me) after my application was approved and the process of signing the paperwork with FCT and transferring the mortgage was not initiated on time to payout my existing mortgage on the renewal date. During this time my file was transferred to another agent who was not very prompt at responding to my phone calls and emails to find out what was going on. The second agent was either terminated or resigned from the company during the transfer process and it was again delayed - very frustrating to say the least. My file was eventually taken over by Julien Dupuis and he was excellent at communicating and prioritizing the transfer of my mortgage transfer to RateHub. He took care of answering all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner and would recommend dealing with him. The only reason I stuck with this entire process instead of jumping ship to another lender is because of the great rate being offerred compared to my current lender. I likely would have been able to give this rating 5 starts if I had dealt with Julien from the begginning, but the inconvenience of the delays from dealing with the first two agents left me disappointed. Overall I would deal give Ratehub another chance again in the future because they have better rates than the big banks and was able to deal with the entire process remotely without having to go to a lawyer's office or their office. - Dave Herriot

Julien Dupuis was my broker for a transaction that closed in September 2024. He was always ahead of the curve and helped fix/get ahead of 11th hour mistakes our lawyer made. My mortgage was coming up for renewal, and I had Julien as my agent to find me a new rate/lender. The rate he was able to get me was much cheaper than what my previous lender was offering me on renewal, and cheaper than other friends were able to find themselves going straight to banks. I'm amazed at why anyone would go without a broker, since it took much of the stress out of the process and I ended up paying less than I would have had I done the work of finding a lender myself. Julien was super helpful, responsive, and worked really well with my lawyer - she even mentioned to me separately how easy he was to work with.
