Kaunain Taki from RateHub deserves a raise! For months I have been struggling with my current mortgage lender and trying to get a renewal. When I wasn’t getting the response that I felt was necessary I contacted RateHub who put me in touch with Kaunain. Kaunain is not only knowledgeable and prompt he is also very compassionate and understanding. I had many phone calls and we exchanged dozens of emails and because things were so stressful with the other bank I was dealing with I often found myself complaining to Kaunain. He sat on the phone and listened like a therapist. Our mortgage situation was very complex and because of the timing we ended up having to stay with our current bank but we have already set a date for the next renewal and it most certainly will be with Kaunain and Ratehub. His honesty and integrity are the values that I hold very high. Kaunain our broker from RateHub was a personable & knowledgeable guy . He set up monthly 1/2 hour "touch point" calls that really helped shape & strategize the right mortgage interest rate as cuts were coming down from BoC and which bank was the BEST fit for our needs as renewal/refinance got closer.
